Joseph George Sauvignon Blanc

This gorgeous wine is made by Randy Mason from grapes grown in our Yountville vineyard.  The nose hints at citrus and white fig.  The flavors are crisp, clean and delicious.

     The packaging is getting rave reviews.  The Stelvin "screwcap" is the only way to go for Sauvignon Blanc.  The closure will keep this wine as fresh as possible for years to come.  We dip the capsules in wax (by hand) to give it a very elegant look, as well as giving you an easy "knob" to hold on to when opening. Just chill, open and enjoy.  If you don't finish it the first night, just close the cap, put it in your refrigerator and finish it the next night.

     Look for our great wine in fine restaurants here in Silicon Valley and up in Napa, or come in to the shop on Meridian Ave and purchase some to take home.

Each year we get a limited amount of this wonderful "everyday" red wine. This year's blend is 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 36% Merlot, 11% Cabernet Franc, and 8% Petite Verdot. It is aged for 16 months in French Oak.

As you will see, 2005 is going down in history as one of the great California wine vintages, and this wine is an early sign of great things to come. The growing season was near perfect and very abundant...kind of like 1997. Wow!
